Bloody Quest (Beat Boards)

These are some beat boards I did for my Character Design and Storyboarding for Animation. We had to create a story and draw environments, characters, and maquettes. My story, Blood Quest, is about a group of friends that get sucked into an rpg video game and have to go on a mega quest. These are for a scene near the beginning of the story when the girls get sucked into a new world and head out on an adventure.

Panel 1: The main characters (Abbi, Terra, Jade, and Catherine) are all sitting around in their living room, bored and in pain.

Panel 2: Terra decides to click on a mysterious site as the others crowd around her.

Panel 3: The girls get sucked into the computer.

Panel 4: They land in another world where a mysterious old woman is waiting for them.

Panel 5: The mysterious old woman tells them of the quest the need to complete.

Panel 6: Other than Terra, the girls aren't sure that they want to do that. Eventually, they all come around and agree to complete it.

Panel 7: The mysterious woman gives them magical weapons to help them on their quest.

Panel 8: The gang heads out into the new world in search of adventure.
